I have added the OPC UA server to my project and all was ok until I added the OPC interface.
TIA portal crashes when I try to compile and download the project. I tried TIA Portal V18 and V19. PLC is S7-1200 with firmware 4.6

I had the same issue a few days ago. I tried to update TIA V19 to the latest update 2, but still, it was crashing.
I read the Siemens forum and tried suggestions for uninstalling late Windows updates. That worked! I was able to add OPC UA interface and download it to PLC

Thanks for the quick response. Yeeees, it works. I uninstalled updates from May, rebooted my PC and OPC UA is now working on my 1212C PLC.
