Hans Berger is a well known book publisher of Siemens programming platforms. Book was released in 2017 and is based on Tia Portal V14 but it is still a very good book to read, especially if you want to know everything about most popular CPU which is S7-1500.
In the book, the hardware components of the automation system S7-1500 are presented including the description of their configuration and parameterisation. A comprehensive introduction into STEP 7 Professional V14 illustrates the basics of programming and troubleshooting. 3. Quick Start to Programming in Siemens Step 7 (TIA Portal), 2nd Edition
2nd release of this book was released in 2019. What we like about it is the number of Q&A when you have to exercise your brain a bit and that could play a significant role in remembering things
